What is your workout routine? This is my most frequently asked question in my DMβS, TikTok and from friends. Itβs not all that complicated just a combination of cardio, core exercises and keeping up movement in my daily life, while focusing on better eating habits, but without restriction. Knowing that itβs okay to stop all of this and just enjoy my weeks away in the Maldives and at St Tropez eating the most amazing foods and going to the beach.
When Iβm not in the gym I love to keep up movement in my daily life. Like walking wherever I can. 8-10k steps a day is easy to do. When Iβm away on holiday and not working out and eating out at restaurants everyday even sometimes twice a day I just make sure Iβm walking everywhere. For me itβs easy and usually I donβt even think about it, itβs just how we explore new places. Taking the stairs instead of the lift or escalators too.
For the people who say Pilates is easy, well it most definitely isn't. It really works the muscles, especially those harder to reach muscles. You really need to focus on breathwork and your mental strength. The shaking is REAL.
I always leave feeling stronger and more flexible but not dripping in sweat so taking a class in your lunch break is perfect, it's what most people I know do actually.
My pink Apple Air Pod Pro Max is a recent purchase that was worth every penny. They give such a smooth sound quality, theyβre comfy and the noise cancelling is so good. I also have the Beats Solo3 wireless headphones which I recommend too and theyβre around half the price of the Apple headphones. A good playlist that motivates me makes SOOO much of a difference, I remember my headphones were flat for a session and I just felt so disappointed and not as determined like normal.
My fav is listening to anything deep house with a good beat! Idk it just makes me feel so ready for my session.
I recently purchased a new pair of shoes 2 months ago. The Adidas Ultra Boost 22 running shoes. They are incredibly light on the feet and are easy to slip on and off, but your heel doesnβt slip out or feel loose when you are running. They have a rubber outsole and Iβve never had any issues with them and worn them a lot so far already. The number one thing worth investing in if you love running like me.
As much as working out and keeping movement in helps me maintain my physique I also wanted to mention how I practise intuitive eating and intermittent fasting in my life too. For example, in the mornings I like to wait and have my breakfast between 10:30AM/ 11:00AM. My appetite takes some time to fully come when Iβve first woken up. It just works best for me. Some people have their appetite right away. I donβt like to eat very late either, most of the time I wonβt eat or snack after 8:30PM. That creates a fasting window of some 14 hours.
If youβre interested in what my favourite breakfast foods are I have listed 6 breakfast foods on the Food section of this website. Some lunch / dinner and other meal ideas can be found on there too along with my usual tea and coffee recommendations.
Hope this was helpful and answered any questions <3
